Oh My Goodness! Cupcakes!

Yes, cupcakes are the new, trendy thing in the food industry. But that’s not why we like cupcakes or why we’re making them (and selling them to you!).

First, we like cupcakes because they come ready-to-eat. You can pick one up and eat it right then without having to worry about sharing (unless you want to!). You don’t have to wait for someone to find the knife to cut you a slice. You don’t have to worry about who gets the corner piece with all the frosting, or the piece with the rose. And they’re just the right size.

We also like cupcakes because they’re portable. You don’t need a fork or a plate to eat a cupcake. They encourage you to walk around and talk to people while you’re eating one.

Cupcakes are easy to personalize. You can get multiple flavors, so you don’t have to worry about your friend who doesn’t really like chocolate not being able to share dessert. Or your friend who’s allergic to strawberries. Cupcakes allow everyone to get what they like best and enjoy it. And cupcakes are a bit easier to do wacky gourmet flavors with, like S’mores or mojito.

But mostly, we like making and eating cupcakes because they’re fun. They take you back to that five-year-old inside, and appeal to that sense of a good time. What do you think of when you think of cupcakes? A party or celebration. Whether it’s a birthday, a wedding, or a homecoming, there’s something about seeing a tray full of them just makes you want to yell out “Oh my goodness! Cupcakes!”

And that’s why we’re here.
